The mission of the Dinamo Coop Renewable Energy Community (Comunità Energetica Rinnovabile Dinamo Società Cooperativa SpA, or CERD) is to provide environmental, economic, and social benefits to its members and the local areas where it operates, by producing and sharing solar electricity among its members. Starting from this year, the new regulations on Renewable Energy Communities offer citizens and businesses the opportunity to join forces to produce and share renewable energy.
For 20 years, the State grants incentives to RECs for each kWh of renewable energy produced and consumed in the same hour. The incentives will be redistributed to the members according to criteria that will be defined by their assembly.
With DINAMO REC, Energy truly becomes a Common Good: for all and for all citizens. The energy produced and distributed in a decentralized manner is sustainable and supportive. A concrete contribution against energy poverty.
The "Energy Common Good" Committee (EBC), born at the beginning of 2023 on the initiative of some Non-profit Organizations in the Turin area to accelerate the formation of RECs and inform citizens, is the promoter of the Renewable Energy Community Dinamo Coop (CERD), formally established in December 2023.
